CONCEPT INSTITUTE 3 - pelican INSTITUTE
Each of the 12 species and subspecies in the genus Pelecanus, will be placed in their own enclosure, each one about 4 acres in size, consisting of a lake with a few islands in the middle, and a sandy shoreline in the far back with a narrow tract of light vegetation behind that and a simple rectangular cinderblock building that serves as a holding/shifting area each with stalls within them. These buildings would be hidden behind that vegetation.
